Battlefield 2 (video 1)
- My personal rating for this game: 9.5 -- Bear in mind that while Call of Duty 4 may seem to blow Battlefield 2 away in these videos, BF2 is still what I personally prioritize, and by a long-shot. (gameplay, gameplay, gameplay... forget graphics and visual detail) Battlefield is about losing yourself out in a gun-filled playground with up to 64 other human players (remember, it's a multiplayer game), and having fun with squads, vehicles, and being punished for team-kills that weren't your fault. Yes, BF2 is one game where you'll be angry at the game and annoyed by other players on a half-hourly basis (and without those issues it may have been a 9.8 game in my book), but the good far outweighs the bad, even if sometimes you just want to mail EA and DICE a cake with a landmine on top. (with any luck, they will step on it, then TK-punish you, even though it was completely their fault for not seeing it before stomping on it). This, of course, would only precede trying harassing them by jumping up and tossing a sack of rotten lemons through an open window, but you can't shoot while jumping (not even to throw various types of sacks over fences, like ammo/medical kits), so you might as well give up now.
