Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (video 1)
- My personal rating for this game: 8.9, with an intense wow-factor as to how realistic and detailed the game is, giving me with an initial 9.5 impression (but that faded by the time I was done with the game). To me, it feels incredibly arcadey and repetitive (in other words, endless swarms of enemies popping up in front of you, and you just pop heads), and rather than feeling like a legitimate story and setting, it feels like a dry-as-a-bone war-simulator... kind of like the difference between a movie like Mission Impossible (this game) and Saving Private Ryan (Battlefield 2) where one feels like casual popcorn entertainment, and the other feels like it means something.
